Haven Vets sign logoVETS AND STAFF at Haven Veterinary Group are raiding their cupboards to find saleable items for the St Andrew Church & Paull Village Hall monthly Car Boot Sale on Saturday 7th June 2014.

The close-knit team at Haven Vets are supporting the car boot sale to raise funds for local Under 9s football team, Hedon Rangers Pythons and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Evie Beattie, Senior Practice Administrator, has organised the fund-raiser and is very pleased with the amount of items that her colleagues have found to sell. She said:-

“Haven Veterinary Group has been serving the communities of East Hull and Hedon for over 100 years and we are proud to support both local and national charities.

“In addition to our sponsorship of Hedon Rangers Pythons, we fundraise for Carr House Rescue Centre, support the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning and last year Principal Vet and Practice Owner, Jim Morris, raised over £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation by cycling from London to Paris.”

The stall will be manned by Evie, Kate Danby and Jim’s wife, Rachel Morris and Hedon Rangers Pythons manager, Jon Storey and some of the players will be on hand to help out too.

The car boot is held between 9am and 1pm on Paull sports field. Proceeds from the entry fee to the popular car boot sale are split between the St Andrew Church & Paull Village Hall for the benefit of the whole community.
