BUILDING SITE: The appearance may not be instantly recognised by most people visiting Hedon Town Centre, but this is the view behind the shutters at the former Audio Room on St Augustine’s Gate.
The premises will form part of the new extended Heron Foods store, offering, in their words, an “enhanced retail experience” in the town.
As part of the internal partial demolition and construction works being undertaken, a programme of archaeological works has also taken place at the site to record or excavate any artefacts of historical interest found.

Not sure Aly – there are all sorts of rumours flying around at the moment. I’m still trying to find out if there is any truth in the rumour that the big Co-op store is going to become an Aldi!
