RUSH LYVARS – the fishing lake on Preston Road, a hidden gem for anglers from all over Yorkshire – must be one of the most commonly mispronounced place names in Hedon.
I took Mrs Duff for a walk to the site last year prove to her how the lake’s name was spelt. Her reply: “At last I know how to spell Russell Harvey’s now!”
