HEDON MUSEUM is showing ‘A Peep in the Pram!’ – a display of prams and doll’s prams from 1870.
The oldest on show, is a Victorian pram of 1870 and the models displayed reflect pram styles up to the 1970s. The most glamorous one is a pram from the 1890s from Harrods!
Visitors are able to take the prams for a little walk – and children will love ‘having a push’ of the dolls prams.
The museum, run entirely by volunteers, is found behind the Town Hall and approached via Watmough’s Arcade, or from the Iveson Close car park, and look for the display boards which are out on open days
Open every Wednesday and Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and refreshments are available.
