It is sad that this meeting is held at 11.00 a.m. on a Sunday. As a practicing Christian I recognise that this is exactly the time that many Christian denominations hold their family/parish services thus creating a conflict for some people. While I know that not all British legion members are churchgoers, I would be surprised if membership did not include a goodly number. I wish the meeting and the club well and hope that someone takes note of this comment.
