THE VISITOR experience of those coming to Hedon for the shops and other attractions is obviously important. But this e-mail from Linda reminds us that on occasion things can slip!
Linda writes about the public toilets in Watmough’s Arcade: “Have any Hedon town councillors been in the gents toilets lately?.. My husband went in about two weeks ago and when he came out he said they were disgusting. He said you need your Wellington’s on because of urine on the floor and a mask on because of the smell.
Considering they have not long been renovated they are not a good impression for anyone visiting Hedon.”
It doesn’t take much to spoil a visit.
Thanks for the comment, I think the toilets are the responsibility of the East Riding Council, I will pass this information onto the Town Clerk to contact the relevant person tomorrow when the Town Hall is open.
