Bird Box donated by the Wilsons

Starling in bushSIX NESTING BOXES have been donated to Hedon Town Council to help benefit birds in the area.

Nestboxes, while intended primarily for birds during the nesting season, will also be used for the rest of the year by some roosting birds and those looking for food. The six that have been donated to the council have different sized holes in order to suit different birds.

Hedon Town Councillors have given thanks to Mr and Mrs Richard Wilson for the donation of the boxes. It is hoped that each box will attract birds and observers of wildlife will have some fascinating scenes to watch!
