DOUG STEWART is the celebrity judge for the Hedon in Bloom 2013 competition.
On Saturday, Doug, who is a presenter on BBC Radio Humberside’s The Great Outdoors, visited the twelve gardens entered into this year’s competition. Doug has made his judgement!
We met Doug briefly on Saturday and asked if he could tell us the results, but he was being very tight-lipped, except to say he’d seen some marvellous gardens!
Councillor Di Storr, the competition organiser, explained that the results would be formally announced at an event to be held at the Town Hall in August.
Prizes will be awarded to those contestants judged to have the best:
- All year round gardens (small, medium or large)
- Most colourful garden (small, medium or large)
- Community Garden
- Container Garden
