SATURDAY 6th JULY 2013 – SO MUCH TO DO !!
SCARECROWS will dominate the village scene in Thorngumbald this weekend when the Thorngumbald, Ryehill & Camerton Gala and Scarecrow Trail takes place. Lots of work has gone into making this year’s Gala and Scarecrow Trail something really special for the whole family.
Before you go to see the Scarecrows from 10am in Thorngumbald (Gala Parade at 12 noon), you will have plenty of time to visit the Paull Car Boot Sale and grab a bargain and enjoy the scenic views over the Humber.
It’s also Bilton Summer Fair on Saturday in the Bilton Village Hall and Memorial Fields.
Locally you can see the Big Sky Exhibition on Saturday at the Hedon Museum from 10am – 4pm. And of course if you just want to relax and enjoy the sun over a cold drink, there is cricket on at Middle Lane!
All the entertainment above has been brought to you as a result of hundreds of hours of work by local volunteers – what a brilliant local achievement!
