THE CHRISTINGLE SERVICE is a celebration which brings together people of all ages from the community.

Traditionally, during the celebration everyone receives a Christingle which is made of an orange, a lighted candle, a red ribbon and sweets on cocktail sticks, each part acting as a symbol of the Christian faith.

The Christingle Service at St Augustine’s Church, Hedon is being held on Wednesday 5th December 2012 at 6.00 pm.

Christingle can be a rewarding and inspiring event in the lives of children and young people. All donations will go to help the work of the Children’s Society.

And don’t forget about the Christmas Market at the Church on Saturday 8th December 2012.
