Hedon Remembrance Sunday 2010

…At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them..

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY will be held in Hedon Market Place and a service at St Augustine’s Church on Sunday 14th November 2010.

At 10.30 a.m. Members of the Royal British Legion, the general public and the band of the Army Cadet Force will assemble in Hedon Market Place.

The parade will proceed to St.Augustine’s Church from the Market Place, via Church Gate and Church lane, at 10.40 a.m.

The parade will re-assemble in Church Lane at 11.40 a.m. and proceed to the War Memorial in Ivy Lane cemetery, via Church Lane and Ivy Lane, for the Wreath Laying ceremony.

The Parade will return to the Market Place at 12:00 noon via Ivy Lane, Church lane, New Road, St. Augustine’s Gate and Market place for the salute to be taken by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire and Town Mayor, Councillor Brenda Goldspink.
