Spurn Ranger Service ending for the current year

EYMS Spurn Ranger

THE SPURN RANGER, bus number 73 run by East Yorkshire Motor Services to the isolated Holderness beauty spot of Spurn Point, will make its last journey on Sunday October 31st.

The Ranger, which also serves villages between Withernsea and Spurn including Patrington, Easington and Kilnsea, carried up to 450 people a month during summer.

But never fear! The service is expected to start again on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from next Easter 2011

  1. It may not seem a lot that only 450 passengers are carried each month, but it fair to point out that the No 73 only runs on Sundays & Bank Holidays, and only runs 4 times a day
