MEASURES TO reduce flooding risks on Inmans Estate continue to be the subject of much debate in Hedon.

The recent open days to showcase flood protection measures in Albina Garth will certainly have allayed some fears. However, of the devices tested, most depend on residents being home during a flood crisis and being able to react promptly and effectively to implement them.

Graham Stuart MP had welcomed the flood tests which he believes “should lead to residents and the councils being better prepared in the event of any future flooding” whilst the debate continues in response to resident Mr Uney’s letter at Flooding Solution? Or cosmetic sweetener?
