AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS have only two weeks left to enter a popular photography contest for pictures taken in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Coast, Sea and Sky was launched by East Riding of Yorkshire Council last year. The theme is open to individual interpretation but must have the natural world as its basis. Photographs must be taken within the East Riding of Yorkshire.

A picture of a beach chalet at Skipsea was chosen from more than 80 entries as the winner last year.

This year’s contest is now open and would-be photographers have until midnight on Sunday June 27th 2010 to submit their entry. There are two categories: Junior 15 years old and under and Senior for the over 16s.

The winners will receive a professionally mounted print of their entry.

More information on the contest, entry forms and a full set of rules are available at www.sewerby-hall.co.uk on (01262) 673 769 from sewerby.hall@eastriding.gov.uk or by writing to the events coordinator at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Church Lane, Sewerby, YO15 1EA
