Hedon Town Council has issued a notice of a vacancy for a town councillor.
A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if by Wednesday 2nd June 2010, TEN electors of the Town write to the chief executive of East Riding of Yorkshire Council at County Hall, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 9BA, claiming such an election.
If the chief executive does not receive such a request, the Town Council may fill the vacancy by co-option, which means that its members will elect a new member from those who have expressed an interest in joining the council.
