TOWN MAYOR ANN SUGGIT is sponsoring a performance by the Humberside Police Concert Band in Hedon on Friday 30th April 2010.

The springtime concert will be held from 7:30pm in the auspicious setting of the St Augustine’s Church and all proceeds from £8.00 ticket price will go towards the church restoration funds.

The Humberside Police Concert Band has been in existence since 1861. It has a national and international reputation including playing for The Queen on a number of occasions, including the Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977, the opening of The Humber Bridge in 1981 and the Golden Jubilee celebrations of 2003

Tickets can be purchased from the Town Hall in Hedon or from the church itself.
