East Yorkshire Citizens Advice Bureau – the CAB – is holding an advice and 
money event at Hedon’s Co-op store at New Road Hedon on Thursday 12th November. The event is an opportunity for people to go along and seek help about any financial concerns they have.
The event runs from 10am – 2:30pm and residents can call in at any time.

An 80 year old housebound client suffering from emphysema was turned down for Attendance Allowance. The bureau challenged the decision after obtaining evidence to support the claim and the decision was overturned. Attendance Allowance was awarded, increasing the client’s weekly income by almost £100.”
