The Holderness Gazette reports that our local Member of Parliament Graham Stuart is hosting a street surgery WEATHER PERMITTING Saturday, May 16th 2009 in the Market Place, Hedon between 10:30am and 12:30pm.
All residents are welcome to attend and speak to their MP about any issues or concerns that they have.

The rain held off and Graham Stuart MP did indeed hold his street surgery.
I’ve made my position clear on MPs’ Expenses and admire our local MP for having the courage to face his constituents in Hedon’s market place – and told him so yesterday. Local politicians not tarred by the expenses scandal need to return to grassroots campaigning in efforts to regain public confidence.
