Two years at the helm! The Station, Hedon celebrates!

YOUR HOSTS AT THE STATION, JACKIE AND CARL will be holding their two-year anniversary party, with singing duo The Hustle, at the Souttergate pub on Saturday 23rd July 2011.

Jackie said: “Carl and I will have been at the Station for 2 years on the 23rd and The Hustle will be playing at our party. It will be a lovely evening . We look forward to seeing all our customers who have now become special friends.”

What is sure to be a popular night is expected to start around 8pm’ish.

Rumble Regulars Return for Easter

ON EASTER SATURDAY night, 23rd April 2011, The Station on Souttergate welcomes back THE RUMBLE.

The group made up of Graham, Kev and Richard play a mixture of music that spans from the 1940′s to to the 1970′s with the occasional bit of ‘modern stuff’ thrown in. They play live music and claim “the noise we play, is the noise you hear!”

Come in early to avoid disappointment!

Good causes benefit from Station fundraisers

“A SPECIAL THANKS is given to all those friends and patrons of the Station Hotel, Hedon, who have given their time effort and money since January 2010. From fundraising trips to the horse racing at Market Rason, to filling in bus stops and football cards and many other functions, they have raised funds for many worthy good causes. Thank You to all for your effort and donations!” – from Jim Lindop.

Help 4 Heroes = £207.85
Macmillan Cancer Support = £960

THE STATION in Hedon plays host to singer Dave Metcalf on Saturday evening, 26th March 2011 for a pleasant night of 60′s and 70′s music.

For those wanting to stretch the brain cells, then the regular fortnightly Quiz Night takes place this Thursday 17th March.

The Quiz is followed by Play Your Cards Right with a Jackpot Cash Prize to be won… and it’s rollover night because the Prize wasn’t won last time!

THE STATION in Hedon is organising a Gala to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday 29th April 2011 – the day is also a special Bank Holiday for the rest of us!

The Souttergate pub is the first venue in the town to announce that it is organising something special for the Royal Wedding and will make full use of its large enclosed grassed beer garden at the rear of the pub.

New Year’s Eve Party – The Posh one!

It'll be so pooosh, da-a-rling!

NEW YEARS EVE will certainly be a classy affair at The Station Public House this year! 2011 will be welcomed in style at the establishment’s ‘Black Tie’ New Years Eve party.

Customers, old and new, are being encouraged to get dressed up for the celebrations!

“It will be black tie for the gentlemen and ladies can go as over-the-top as they like!” according to Jackie, the event hostess.

So, now is the time to get your diamonds and tiaras polished, and to check the rattle on those pearls!
