HU12 has concentrated its reporting on the East Riding elections and statements from most of the candidates in the South West Holderness Ward are featured in our Ward Election News.

However, we will be featuring an update on general election news from across the Holderness area on HU12 next week,  just prior to the polling. So if any candidates for the Town Council elections wish to send us brief information about who you are and why you are standing for Council, then we will be happy to publish this.

Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 5th May and you will have the opportunity to vote for 3 candidates in the East Riding Council elections, 12 in the Hedon parish elections, and “Yes” or “No” in the referendum on AV. Votes will be counted on Friday 6th May.

HU12 intends to bring you the results of the elections ‘live’ from the count in Beverley on Friday and will be ‘blogging’ and ‘tweeting’ the results as they happen.
