Queen’s Jam Nights!

GET UP AND JAM with a great live band every Sunday night at the Queen’s Head, Hedon!

The Jam Night takes place at the Queen’s, every Sunday 7.00pm – 11.00pm.

If you’re a singer come and sing along! Are you a guitar, bass or keyboard player? Just plug in and join in! Or if you’re a drummer just bring your sticks and give us a beat!

Or if you’re in a band wanting to do a few songs, come along and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere in this great venue. We also have the facility to record your performance and put it onto a disc for you there and then, for you to keep.

Even if you’re not a musician and just enjoy live music come to the Queens Head on a Sunday night and enjoy!

All levels of ability welcome to join in. All music tastes catered for!

Hedon’s Open Gardens

FOLLOWING the magnificent Flower Festival arrangements on display at St Augustine’s Church over the weekend, then a similar theme will occupy the church’s next fundraising efforts!

HEDON OPEN GARDENS will take place over the weekend of Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012. It is anticipated that there will be over twenty beautiful gardens open.

Admission to the featured gardens will be by a special Programme which will soon be available from Hedon Carpets and Beds, Watmough’s Arcade and the Open Gardens themselves at a cost of £4, Children free.

VISIT: FLOWER FESTIVAL

Valerie Wood book signing!

THE FLOWER FESTIVAL at St Augustine’s Church gets underway from Friday 4th May 2012. One of the highlights of the Festival is the guest appearance in the church of local Beverley-based Author Valerie Wood.

Valerie will be signing copies of her latest paperback book, The Harbour Girl which is set in 19th Century Scarborough and Hull. The book-signing will take place in the appropriately historic setting of St Augustine’s between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 5th May 2012.

PAUL THOMAS is the male vocalist providing the entertainment at The Station pub in Hedon on Saturday 5th May 2012.

The artists usually get going about 9pm – but Jackie at the pub says get in early to ensure you get the seats you want!

Fashion Show by The Wardrobe Boutique

A FASHION SHOW has been organised by Hedon’s own The Wardrobe Boutique for Friday 11th May 2012.

The show takes place in the Marquee at Haven Arms, Hedon. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £7.00 and include a free cocktail and a complimentary food platter served at your table.

Bobby Diamond Karaoke at the King’s Head

BOBBY DIAMOND is performing at the King’s Head, Hedon on Friday night (27th April 2012).

Bobby sings a variety of Rock & Roll hits. However he is best known by his fans as an Elvis Presley impersonator!

Bobby has become something of a regular at the King’s – but this is the first time he has been presented as Bobby Diamond Karaoke! It starts at 8pm.
