PRESTON PUBS will be the focus of significant fundraising events over the next two weekends.

Preston Hoedown Nag's Head

A COUNTRY & WESTERN themed Hoedown is taking place on Saturday 31st August 2013 at the Nag’s Head, Preston – from 3pm until late! And it’s all for a good cause!

The campaign to support the construction of a new Playground at Preston Playing Fields have come up with the idea of the themed event and will be offering Pony Rides, a Bucking Bronco, a Hog Roast and Barbecue and live entertainment.

The good news, is that an order has been placed for children’s play equipment to be installed at the Playing Field…. so there’s never been a better time to get out those cowboy boots and hats, celebrate and get ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good day!

Tickets will cost £1.50 and 50p for children and are available from the pub.
