THE CLOSING DATE for the Sewerby Hall and Gardens’ Coast, Sea and Sky amateur photographic competition has been extended until Monday 30th September 2013.
The theme for the competition is open to personal interpretation of the coast, sea and sky, but entries must have the natural world at heart and be taken within East Yorkshire.
The winning photograph in each category (juniors – 15 years and younger, and seniors – 16 years and older) will receive a professionally mounted print supplied by Walker and Walker Photographers along with a 2014 family season pass and an Adventurer’s Guide to Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
Full details of the competition, including a set of rules and an application form, are available as downloads from the Sewerby Hall website. Alternatively, interested participants can contact the Welcome Centre for more information on 01262 673769 – or visit the website.
We hope that pictures from Holderness, feature in the prizes once again – as was the case last year with this fantastic image from Spurn Point. Now, wouldn’t it be nice if an image from Hedon got one of the first prizes this year!?
Get out there with your cameras and get snapping!
