WE HAVE today written to the Candidates in the Hedon Town Council By-election inviting each to submit a statement outlining their campaign to become the next Town Councillor.
We will offer each candidate up to 500 words to explain their reasons for standing and to state their case why residents ought to vote for them.
The Hedon Blog receives over 10,000 page views a month (and actually reached over 17,000 in October and November) and is a regular source of local news for residents – so we hope that we can help spread the word about the election and encourage people to use their votes!
We have included a BY-ELECTION button on the top-menu of the Blog which links to our election-coverage page – and we hope that candidates will take advantage of this opportunity to reach some local voters.
