John is not new to having public shaves, his last hair-raising ordeal was covered by the Hull Daily Mail in 1989. But after 23 years of having a full set of whiskers, John’s distinguished locks all came off for charity at the big ‘Shave Off’ at the Baxtergate pub at the weekend.
John was not the only one going whiskerless at The Shakey – Dave, Colin and Paul all experienced the charity chop!
