A LOTTERY TICKET bought at Becketts in Hedon Marketplace won £50,000 for a Hedon Road syndicate, reported the Hull Daily Mail recently.
The 21-strong syndicate team, made up of employees from CF Struthers Ltd, each won £2,380.
Project engineer Mick Richardson, who is in charge of the lottery syndicate, was reported in the Mail as saying: “I go every week to put it on at Beckett’s Newsagent’s in Hedon during my lunch hour and have been doing it since I took over in 2010.”
