HEDON MAYOR and Lady Mayoress Jim and Sue Lindop have presented a cheque to Macmillan Cancer Care on behalf of customers of The Station pub.
Customers raised a total of £544 for the charity, mostly on a special outing to a Day at the Races at Market Rasen.
Macmillan’s fundraising manager, Crystal Ness (centre), accepted the cheque with her sincere thanks. Macmillan could not continue to provide its vital services without the ongoing support of the public.
Macmillan Cancer Care is one of the charities chosen by Councillor Lindop to benefit during his year as Mayor.
