Hedon sign vandalised

THE HEDON SIGN near the border with Preston at South Holderness Technology College has been damaged and removed by Hedon Town Council for repair. It seems from information gleaned, that a gang of youths pushed the sign over and smashed the Perspex cover. Anybody having seen the incident which took place over the weekend should call the police on telephone 101.

The photos show the sign as it should be (taken Saturday afternoon 21st July) and the stump that remains at the moment.

  1. I am the licensee at the Cock & Bell Preston. On Sunday morning the sign for Sourh Holderness Technology Collage appeared outside my pub. It is quite large and made of metal which also makes it quite heavy. This was obviously vandalised at the same time. It is now on my property for safe keeping .
