AFTER TWO YEARS of hard slog by village fundraisers in Paull, the BIG Lottery Fund announced today, that thanks to a grant of nearly £465,000 from them a new Paull Village Hall is going be built on the site of the old!
Paul Cross, as Chairman of the Village Hall Committee said today: “The award from the Big Lottery Fund is the fulfillment of a dream for the people of our small rural parish and is such tremendous news for our local community. We’re really looking forward to the future and making the most of this wonderful opportunity.”
The new Village Hall will boast state-of-the-art energy efficiency features and superfast broadband. It will have an ‘Observation’ lounge on an upperdeck providing scenic views over the Humber estuary.
