A HEDON MOTORCYCLIST aged 47 has been killed as a result of a road traffic collision.

Humberside Police  are appealing for witnesses to the collision which happened on the B1248, at the junction with Rootas Lane near Cherry Burton at around 10:25am on Sunday 27th May 2012.

A silver coloured Volkswagen Polo was in collision with the red coloured motorcycle and a silver coloured Vauxhall Corsa.

The 70 year old female driver of the Volkswagen Polo was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary and treated for non life threatening injuries. The 17 year old female driver of the Corsa was not injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting log 302 of 27th May 2012.
