A FAMILY FUN DAY takes place at the Haven Arms on Saturday 31st March 2012 at 11am – 5pm.

The event on Havenside will see stalls being set up for arts and crafts, cakes and face-painting amongst many others.

There will be a bouncy-castle, inflatable slide and rodeo bull for the children and a visit from a fire engine.

A children’s Sponsored Walk to the event will leave Market Hill, Hedon at 10am. If you and your child want to get involved then sponsor forms are available from Laura at 07989 520 090.

The Family Fun Day has been organised to raise money for Avie’s Fund (reviewed by HU12 Online). Further information is available on Facebook.

  1. Avie’s Mum Laura has posted this on the Avie’s Fund Facebook Page:

“Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone involved in the fun day-organisers, helpers, stall holders and of course all who visited! Apologies for the lack of bouncy castle and slide as advertised-that unpredictable thing known as British weather was against us with winds too strong to have them up, but we hope you all had fun despite the weather! The total raised will be announced soon after all the childrens sponsor money has been gathered and counted, but we know we hit well over the 700 pound mark which is utterly amazing! I can’t thank everyone enough xx”

  2. Hi, could I be notified, please, of any future events where I could promote my PROTO-COL business? I could do facials and makeovers, take any orders, recruit anyone wanting to earn some great commission and people could donate what they wanted to your cause and I’d donate a percentage of my commission, too. I’m really keen to get the name out there and raise some funds for local causes, too. Many thanks. Teresa Wilson
