CONGRATULATIONS are given to the community in Paull for staging a successful Festival of Scarecrows yesterday.
The village was full of people clutching maps and snapping photos.

My sources on the Hedon Blog Facebook page tell me that the winner of the St Andrew Cup and £10 in cash was Scarecrow No: 40 at the corner of Leonards and Townend Road.
That’s the Scarecrow with its head stuck in the ground pictured at the top of this post.
