A “Community Speed Watch” is to be piloted in the village of Beeford reports the Hull Daily Mail. The scheme involves community volunteers playing an active role in discouraging drivers from driving faster than the speed limit through villages and small towns.
This pilot could be a prelude to rolling this scheme out across the whole East Riding.
